Synopsis
Dali, a thirty-year-old Frenchman of Algerian origin, joins his parents in his native village in Kabylia. He wants to live the Algerian dream—find a companion and get married in accordance with his parent’s wishes. But his meeting with Raissa, a young Tuareg woman ready to drop anything to cross the Mediterranean, will upset everything. In the midst of sheep fights, misappropriated subsidies and youth movements for freedom, a question arises—to leave or to stay? To bled or not to bled?

About the Director
Azedine Kasri is a French-Algerian actor and filmmaker. He started his career as an actor, appearing in several feature films. In 2017, he directed his first short film, '507 Hours,' and then attended La Femis, where he directed 'Territories', his second short film, which travelled around the world. He has been selected at over 50 festivals and won more than ten prizes. In 2023 he directed 'Boussa', his latest short film. This year he is writing his first feature film, 'To Bled Or Not To Bled', produced by Emma Javaux (Une Fille Productions).
