Ali Hammoud / Feature Experimental or Essay / United States of America, Qatar / 65 min / Original Language: Arabic, English / Interests: Essay Documentary

Synopsis

It always started with a question about destination, and often times the answer had been indecisive. That’s the case for the non-immigrant Lebanese visual artist whose life has entered limbo following the rejection of his application for a work visa while still in the United States—sending him on a journey to explore existential questions about one’s place in this world, finding a place of belonging and whether art poses the power to express the uncertainty of our times.
