Synopsis
We all know how snowflakes are made… or do we? This wonderfully whimsical animated tale imagines what happens to water droplets after they emerge from a pool of water and float up into the sky, where they encounter the freezing cold breath of the north wind. Eventually, they will return to land, where all together they adorn Japan’s majestic Mount Fuji with an elegant cap of snow. The water cycle has never seemed so charming!
About the Directors
A filmmaker and graphic designer, Yuki Hirakawa was born in 1990 in Seto, Japan. He studied Animation at Tokyo Polytechnic University, where he graduated in 2013, and began his career as a digital artist at the Japanese production company Taiyo Kikaku. ‘Achoo!’ marks his directorial debut.
