For almost a decade, Kenya has been the target of terrorist attacks by the Al-Shabaab group, and this has led to mistrust between Christian and Muslim populations. When a Christian woman who experienced violence at the hands of Al-Shabaab voyages home in a bus of predominantly Muslim passengers, she is at once anxious and indignant. But when the bus is stopped by a group of terrorists, humanity prevails. Based on real-life events, ‘All of Us’ demonstrates that true faith is stronger than hatred.

About the Director

Influenced by theatre throughout her youth, Katja Benrath became a theatre tailor early in her professional life and worked for Pina Bausch's dance company. She the completed studies in Singing and Acting in Vienna, where she also discovered filmmaking. Her first short films, ‘Babydoll’ (2011), ‘No One Pukes in Heaven’ (2013) and ‘Tilda’ (2015), have been screened at numerous international festivals. ‘All of Us’, her graduation project for the Hamburg Media School, is her first film based on a true story.
