Synopsis

Every night, three fishermen escape from the lights, traffic and towering buildings of Doha out into the waters of the Gulf. They take their small boat out into the dark, far away from everything that reflects the transformative modernity of the metropolis, and closer to the reflection of the moonlight. With their fishing equipment and their resilience, they catch as many fish as they can to take to market. ‘The Fishermen’ follows their journey from sea to city.
