Whilst working in an apartment building in Qatar, a housekeeper is approached by a stranger, who offers her money to help cover something illicit. Desperately needing to support herself and her family, she finds herself conflicted over whether she accepts this life altering request.

About the Director

Abdulaziz Ameen is a Qatari aspiring filmmaker and a recent Mass Communication graduate from Qatar University. He has partaken in different workshops related to narrative and documentary filmmaking with Al Jazeera and Doha Film Institute. Abdulaziz is currently writing short/feature length scripts and his directorial debut “Mercy” is in development. His work notably explores psychological themes and is influenced by Japanese cinema and artists like Hideaki Anno. He hopes to tell impactful stories that have an international reach and help bring Arab cinema to the forefront.
