QFF 2015 - Production/Post-Production Stage
Current project status: Development
Sultan’s relationship with his wife and daughter is rather cold. His interests are dominated by business deals, and he is always occupied with negotiations on his phone. His wife Maryam lives in desolation, and she is extremely distant from her husband. Their child, Mona, is a victim of the hopeless relationship between her parents. She lives in her own world, in a state of worry and despair – like a doll that lacks feelings and emotions. She wishes her parents would pay her some attention, but they remain elusive. She dreams of a life filled with emotions and love, so she tries to escape her reality, with poignant results.
