Synopsis
In April, DFI challenged film enthusiasts across Qatar, no matter their background or experience level, to make a short documentary film in no more than 48 hours. We are proud to present 'Cricket Market', which was unanimously selected by our jurors as the winner, screening immediately before the Katara DFI Cinema screenings of 'Disconnect'.
'Cricket Market' steps into the world of community cricket games, which fill the disused spaces of Doha each Friday. This touching story will give you a new perspective on this common sight in less than four minutes.
