Synopsis
As sectarian conflict looms over a village in the Lebanese countryside, women of different religious affiliations band together and resort to inventive, even comical, schemes to save their community from surrendering to violence. A heartfelt and charming musical follow-up feature to director Labaki’s widely successful “Caramel”.
About the Director

Nadine Labaki was born in Lebanon and is an actor, writer and director. She studied at the Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut, where she made her graduation short film “11 rue Pasteur” (1997). Her feature films are “Where Do We Go Now?”and “Caramel” (2007), which was a worldwide critical and commercial success.
