She has served as advisor to festivals including Karlovy Vary, Locarno and Yerevan, has served as a Jury member for many of the world’s leading festivals and was the Programme Director for two years at the Art Film Festival in her native Slovakia. She holds M.A. of the University of Amsterdam and Comenius University of Bratislava, as well as the European diploma in Cultural Project Management.

    Her experience in the cinematic is diverse, as she is the Founder and Director of Metropolis Art Cinema, the first art-house cinema in Beirut, Lebanon, and is the Founding Partner and Manager of MC Distribution, which specializes in independent Arab productions. Mroué uses her expertise to increase the visibility of unique and dynamic storytelling, a passion that fuels her appointment as the Festival Director for “Ayam Beirut al Cinema’iya” (Cinema Days of Beirut), a bi-annual Arab Film Festival initiated by Beirut DC and the Cultural Association for Cinema Production, of which she is a founding member.

    As a programmer, he is passionate about artists engaging in unique visual dialogues and recognising undiscovered talent and courageous filmmakers who continually push boundaries. Zeneddine directed “Falling From Earth” which has been selected for over 40 film festivals. The development of another feature is one of his many projects currently underway. Born and raised in Gabon, Africa, he received his Masters in Film Studies in Beirut, Lebanon. Subsequently he pursued his PhD in Paris, France, and has been granted the Cultural Leader Fellowship by the Japan Foundation.
