Launched in 2009 by DFI’s Head of Education and Oscar nominated filmmaker, Scandar Copti and award winning filmmaker and education mentor, Ben Robinson, these beginner workshops bring together fledgling filmmakers with talented professionals, teaching students a variety of skills and practices that help them create personal, original stories. In addition to providing filmmakers with the knowledge and confidence to undertake larger projects, these workshops also help DFI discover new talent early in their creative careers.
