DFI and Quinta Communications are thrilled to offer this incredible opportunity for actors to audition for one of two speaking roles and one non-speaking role in acclaimed filmmaker Jean-Jacques Annaud’s upcoming film based of Hans Reusch’s novel South of the Heart.

The film depicts the epic rivalry between two Emirs in Arabia in the 1930s, just as oil is being discovered, and the rise of a young, dynamic leader who unites the various tribes. The film will be filled with spectacular action sequences, romance and intrigue on an epic scale.

Auditions will take place at the W Hotel in Doha on October 1st and 2nd from 2pm – 8pm. The roles that you can apply for are:

1) Male speaking role – Camel driver: Arabic soldier in his 30’s

2) Male speaking role – Aide de Camp: Arabic soldier in his mid-20’s

3) Female non-speaking role – 20 year old Arabic girl who can play the Oud
