Over 30 journalists gathered yesterday at the
Museum of Islamic Art, our festival hub, for the much anticipated release of our wonderful
film program.
Amanda Palmer, Scandar Copti, Fatma Al Remaihi, and Faisal Al Thani
spoke about what makes DTFF unique, and the importance of having cinema
and culture accessible to the Qatari community.
We sat down with writers and photographers from both Arab and English
press to watch trailers from selected films. Staff from various DTFF
departments mingled with journalists from the local media.
But most importantly, it was a great to finally let the community in on the
film program!
Special thanks to the volunteers who came yesterday and helped us make the event run smoothly.
