The “rain” in the film Singin' in the Rain was a mixture of water and milk, so that it would show up better on camera.

Sylvester Stallone sustained 14 injuries while making The Expendables, including a hairline fracture in his neck that required surgical insertion of a metal plate. He also had bronchitis and shingles during the shoot.

R2D2 is shorthand for “Reel 2, Dialogue 2” and was used in George Lucas’ film American Graffiti. He liked the sound of it and re-used it for Star Wars.

نحن على دراية بالخطأ الذي تم نشره ببعض الصحف حول إنتاج الأفلام الخاصة بفئة "صنع في قطر" تحت رعاية مؤسسة الدوحة للأفلام ونود التصحيح بأن هذه الأفلام لم يتم إنتاجها من
قبل المؤسسة ولكن تم إختيارها بالتنسيق معنا للمشاركة في مهرجان ليفربول للفنون العربية . ونحن الأن بصدد التواصل مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني والصحافة لتصحيح هذا الخطأ. ونود أن نهنئ المخرجين الذين تم إختيارهم من قطر لعرض أفلامهم في مهرجان ليفربول للفنون العربية.
We are aware of the article which inaccurately credits DFI for the production of films in the Made in Qatar section. These films were merely curated by DFI, but were not produced by us. We are working with the media and the British Council to ensure these mistakes in the press are rectified as soon as possible. We congratulate the filmmakers from Qatar on their participation at the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival
